I feel lucky to say that I really enjoy my job and what I do at CPW. There's always something to learn, whether it is how to put a photo link into the website, or how the 2010 vintage compares to the previous year, or how to put an advert together for Devon Life Magazine.

With a family background in the wine trade you might say I was born with a wine glass in my hand (or should that be champagne flute ?). From an early age I helped my father with wine tastings at home on the kitchen table, and then in his office in the school holidays. After University I progressed to the heights of Berry Bros & Rudd, and then on to an importers in Lincolnshire. Another small stint in London led me to my husband and off to Australia to sample the many delights of the Ozzie lifestyle - the sun, the wine, the prawns etc.. Why did we come back ? We missed England I have to say. There's nothing like an English hedgerow in Spring.

And then on to CPW where I've been for the last 8 years. With two children, a house overlooking fields of sheep, a quiet cup of tea at work, and a varied enjoyable job, the only thing I really need is bit more sleep....
