An easy drinking, fruit driven Zinfandel with a hint of oak.

Last year’s extensive blind tastings to select some new Zinfandels revealed the excellent value offered by Sonoma’s Ravenswood Winery. Established in 1976 by Joël Peterson and W. Reed Foster, Ravenswood has gone from strength to strength in recent years, which is very largely due to Joël Peterson’s renowned skill as a wine-maker. The Vintners Blend Zinfandel is made from grapes sourced throughout California and the aim is to make an easy drinking wine with a distinct varietal character, with the emphasis on fruit, enhanced by oak ageing and with excellent food versatility.
