Christopher Piper Wines' connection with the original Carved Angel restaurant, in Dartmouth, goes back to the late 1970's when we started to supply wine to Joyce Molyneux and Tom Jaine. These were halcyon days for the Angel and we were thrilled to be supplying Joyce's one-star Michelin emporium. We continued a close association with the Carved Angel right until it was sold in 2000. This quite excellent cook book brings together some of Joyce's most memorable recipes in one volume. Hugely influenced by Elizabeth David and George Perry-Smith, Joyce is, without doubt, one of the best chefs that the south-west of England has produced.
Born to Cook, Angel Food is priced at £14.95 and over £5 per book goes to "Save the Children".
