The wine has a brilliant clarity and is deep red in colour with a purple hue. The aroma consists of cherries, plums and fruitcake mixed with spicy white pepper. A hint of vanillin oak adds depth and supports the medium bodied wine structure. Delicate earthy eucalyptus and mulberry flavours dominate the palate and are balanced by the soft acidity and elegant tannins that linger gently on the finish. Drinking perfectly now.

The beautiful Amberley property is considered to be one of the finest in the Margaret River region. Established in 1986, this privately owned company has remained true to its original philosophy of making premium wines from fruit grown exclusively in the Margaret River region.
