The Malbec is deep-coloured and definitely full of ripe, plummy/spicy fruit.

Anubis is an exciting joint-venture between Alberto Antonini (ex-winemaker at Antinori in Tuscany) and the brilliant Argentinean wine-maker, Susana Balbo, in whose winery (Dominio de la Plata) the Anubis range is made. Fruit for the excellent 2005 vintage was sourced from the Agrelo and Vistalba regions, widely recognised as the quality heartland of Mendoza. Our two red wines from this estate show off the wine-making prowess of this Argentine/Italian team - these are modern, richly fruity and extracted wines with an open, approachable style.
