Côte de Francs

Château de Francs overlooks the surrounding countryside and still has remains that date back to the 13th and 14th centuries. Set up on one of the highest hillsides in the Gironde, it belongs to the Côte de Francs appellation, the smallest in the Bordeaux region. The vineyard is made up of old, low-yield red and white vines and has excellent soils.

Made from 72% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a lovely deep ruby-crimson color. Aromas of blackberry and blueberry lead to a medium-bodied, fleshy and concentrated claret with lots of fruit and excellent extraction and low acidity. The finish is long-lasting.
