Pomerol

This is a beautifully balanced wine with a dominant plums and red cherry flavours. There is plenty of toasty oak and a long persistant finish. Drink 20010 to 2017.

Clinet is at the the summit of the Pomerol plateau on the Gûnz gravel which is where all the appellation's greatest wines are to be found. Owned by Jean-Louis Labourder since 1998. Clinet wines are nearly always rich and powerful with good dep colours and persitance on the palate.
